i have a 1979 ski supreme and i need to get some parts for it but i cant figure out what engine it has. i know that it is a ford 5.0L/302 but i cant figure out if it is the ford BOSS 302 or the ford small block windsor. please help!!!

The only way I was able to find out exactly what I have was contacting the manufacturer with the engine serial number. If you want to pull the valve covers, you can look for casting numbers on the heads, and maybe a casting number on the block. Then contact a Ford parts dealer. They should be able to look them up.
