to all mississippi river boaters

Just trying to find out if there are any other jet boat or V drive ( I'm not pregeduce after all were all hot boaters right) enthusiasts that float'em in the dubuque to Prarie-duchene area. Would be cool to here from all of you and give a description of your ride and where you boat.
Mine is a 1975 SLEEKCRAFT jet with a bbc thats currently undergoing a complete restoration but will definetly be ready for spring.

Hello ilikemtopless, You have found us ! There is a few of us Midwest Jetters that do frequent the Prarie du chein area about twice a year. We come from ill, Ia, wi, and Mn. It is always a good time. Come on out and enjoy a fun weekend. We usually stay at a place called the Holiday Shores on the Iowa side of the river. You can contact myself or CraigU for more info. we have no dates for 2002 but in the spring we'll be setting up more Midwest river runs. Also over in the chain o lakes area of Ill., MikeW has his Midwest Jet Boat Rally every summer. This year it is around the fourth of July. Yeah what RatSquirt said. We do make it over there a few times a year. Here are some pictures of our July trip. Most of them are shot by the big sand bar between McGregor and Clayton, Ia. Let's go Roost'n next year!
