What are the best music sites to download from for an ipod??? I know itunes...but are there any other good ones?

I use AllofMP3 (http://www.allofmp3.com) . They are based over in Germany and you put money in a account and download songs/albums from there site. The benefit of these guys is how they charge for downloads. By the byte... A average song, at 380k comp, will cost you about .11 and the entire album would be around $1.25. They all come to you in MP3 format and can be imported straight into iTunes for your POD.

you want to be careful about some download sites that charge a monthly fee for unlimited d/l like Napster. The songs have an encrypted code or something in them that really limits how you can move them around and also you can no longer listen to them after your membership expires, you even have to plug in your IPOD/mp3 player at least once a month to update the songs so you can continue to listen to them. They also dont work very well with IPOD ive been told, have to convert/rip the format the are d/l in.
