give me back my ski rope

HOW THE HELL DO I RETRIEVE MY SKI ROPE FROM MY DOMINATOR JET. MY STEALTH HAD THE MUNCHIES AFTER A LONG RIVER SESION.

Tape a carpet knife(one of those curved thingies) to the end of a broom stick and just reach up through the grate and cut it out. Kinda difficult but it's easier to do it that way rather than take the cleanout plug on my boat out. First step - take the plugs out of the engine (to make it easier to turn over), then put a breaker bar on the crank nut, and turn the engine over backwards, while someone else helps to feed the rope back out of the intake. It will take a while, but the rope will come out in an hour or so.

Jetmugg is right. That is the ticket. The only easier way is to wander the beach looking for a lamp to rub and wish that you had your ski rope back in the middle of two wishes for a million dollars and a 9" pianist.
