Thread: Water in Puke Tank?

Is it common to always have some water to drain from my puke tank after running for an hour or 2, usually a couple of ounces with very very little oil but there is a sheen on the water that comes out, otherwise looks pretty clear. The boat lives in a closed garage in Austin, TX where we have pretty high humidity most of the time. Oil in the pan remains clear. I hope it is just condensation, but do not know.

Most likely condensation. If your oil is clean I would not be too concerned about a couple oz water in puke (same with valve covers inside surface)... very common (hot motor cooling off around water condensates).

Thank you Mike. That is what I hoped just wanted another opinion.
