I have a 12JG pump on my crusader, and I have a left over 12JC pump from my Tahiti...Can I still use the pump houseing with a "G" bowl on my set-up (suction hull piece)?
Good news for ya. The suction piece is the same. To the best of my knowledge you can swap parts between the two pumps all day long. I'm not sure of your specific goals but if you end up having work done to one of the bowls, obviously you would want it to be the G.

Yeah my 12JG set-up is my bread and butter with Droop/and ride plate. But my 12JC is shot! Impeller destroyed, bowl vanes chipped (long story), but the houseing is still good as well as the shaft I think. But I want to rebuild it, so when I need my 12JG set-up replaced I can do it in no time. Thanks
Just did exact same swap before last outing because jc was lunched and had a jg from an old tahiti small world huh?
