Theres great first come first serve camping all over Shasta. Theres a point at Jones Valley you can drive right out onto, theres Arbucle Flats on the Pit arm thats boat in only and theres a # of boat in sites on every arm of Shasta. Heres a map that shows most of them

Good to see ya again byron, your boat has kewl colors, i like the graphics. hope to see ya next weekend at shasta im planning on being there at least saturday and sunday.
I like Union Vallley Resevior also.
As for Whiskytown, you cant camp anyware on the lake except Oak Bottom or Brandy Creek. Not sure about Brandy Creek but Oak Bottom you just make a reservation on like then its on a first come first serve basis, so you need to get there early in the day to get a good camp spot but there all on the water for the most part. Heres a site with for reservations and info
