Alpha props are a smaller diameter. The larger blade area loads the drive more and failure is probable. Also with the greater load, the engine usually loses more rpm than you would expect. Bottom line..... DON'T. TIMINATOR
A girl friend of mine has a 4.3lL 210 hp v-6 with an Alpha 1 and needs to prop up. I have a 23 pitch prop off a Bravo 1. Will they interchange??? Anything to look out for??? Thanx

I have a 21 ft eliminator 207 skier and i have the alpha1 w a 350 mag 155 at prop i run a 21p mirage stainless and it does a very good job all around(loaded,empty,sking,and at powell)A 23 i think will be too much for a v6 motor.I have tried a bravo1 22p 4 blade and it was too much for my boat i have a 21p rev4 4 blade(smaller diameter than the bravo1 4 blade) but havent tried it yet
One more thing if it is an alm prop a stainless in the same pitch will lower the rpm and increase speed.

I think the 4.3 has a lower gear than the 350. I know a GOOD prop for that would be a "High Five" of the same pitch...
The bravo will fit, maybe, but I would not leave it on there....unless he wants to upgrade the drive.
