    FYI -
According to the powers that be here in Lake Havasu here is the latest on the boat length in the channel.
As most of you are well aware of at each end of the channel there is sign that says boat length is limited to 36'. At times that sign is folded up and you can't see it. When it is folded up.. it means the local authorities are not enforcing that ordinance. They DO expect to enforce it on holiday weekends and selectively if the channel gets too clogged or if it is extremely windy. If the signs are folded up meaning you can't see the 36' limit then its ok for the longer boats to enter.
Above all else they expect the longer boats as well as all boats to act in a professional manner.
RE; noise - if you rev your engine under the bridge you have a good chance of getting a noise ticket, if you unnecessarily rev your engine as you go thru the channel you have a good chance of getting a noise ticket...
ThatÂ’s the latest from Lake Havasu.... See you All boats Regatta July 15th weekend...

This may be a ridiculous question but...if there is a db level for engines, why isn't there a noise limitation for stereo blasting? It bugs me when a stereo is so loud you can't even hear yourself think!

I love it when you see that big pontoon boat that is the flooting billboard with the big huge stero system going up and down the channel. That thing is louder than 90% of the boats going through.

The stereo's are only bad if they play shitty music.
