RJB= Real Jet Boats. There was a site put up by Mike C, who posts here occasionally, called Real Jet Boats. It was a great site for the hardcore jet boat owners. It went down late last summer, I think as a result of server problems. I don't own a jet boat, but I know they sound cool. Actually, I used to own a jet. I just hated losing to all those damn weedwackers. I know where to get someone a set of hooker wetstacks for a 460 though!!

Big Block Spanking Party in Havasu 4/20 weekend!!
The plan is to meet in the channel under the bridge on Saturday from 11:30-12:30 for inspection. If it looks like your boat is faster than mine you are disqualified!!hehe.
From there, we will rally up to speed alley.
There will be balloons marking the entrance to speed alley which is on the way to the sandbar. Last years party had lots of very fast outboards and very few big blocks. Maybe some big block jets will show this year. Maybe not. This is all about fast boats. If you have a slow boat, get a faster one!!!! If you don't have a boat, I hope your daddy is rich!!

I am hanging in there. Need to replace the starter in the Glastron. Of course that means pulling the motor mounts and lifting the motor. At least the starter is guaranteed for life. That's one good thing about all the money we spent at Mondello's.

I drove to Florida during spring break (from Waco, TX) and stopped off at Panama Beach, Orlando, etc and swore I would never drive 2200 miles round trip again. Looked up the trip to Havasu and found out it is 2400 miles round trip!!! Well, have fun 4/20. Don't think I'll make it. Maybe I need to move there since it seems that is where the action is at!

The other thing JBB, I think the guys that have the 60 - 70 mph boats don't really want to show up somewhere if it's just a bunch of assholes talking shit.
I really want everyone to show so we can all get together, support each others events and boat like the neighbors. There will be plenty of stuff going on regardless if anyone races or not.
We'll have the shop open, color sanding, touch-ups or any kind of demo wanted at that time, we'll do it. It's just about getting to know more people in this community.
