Thread: Looking for a cheap 5.0 Mustang

I am looking for a cheap 88-93 5.0, I don't care how many miles, but it can't be a conv. or automatic. I want to build a nice little hotrod for the 5 mile commute to work and evening surf runs. If anyone knows somebody selling one let me know. Thanks

    Hey Ian,
I have a friend located in Simi Valley that is interested as he has a 5.0 from that era in good condition that is a hard top and a manual...I tried to send you a PM, but it says you box is full...I'll try using the e-mail feature.

I don't think the email feature works either, please email me details at 2ttsi@adelphia.net.
    Thanks Ian

Good taste my man. I wish I could find a clean 91-93 Notch back but they are no where to be found. At least not for a small fortune.

Ahh the memories. My first car was an 89 Mustang Hatchback. Someday I will go back an buy another one to fix up.

It is hard to beat an 88-93 5.0, I have owned three and can't wait to get another. My last one was a 93 LX with a Vortech supercharger and it was a blast to drive. My next one will be a caged road racer, for the 10 mile trip through the canyon to the beach

I found a couple 89 notchbacks in collectorcartraderonline.com Not cheap $6200 in SD and built 818-427-6969, and $4700 stocker in LA 310-460-9988. I look every week I will keep my eyes open. There are a million gt's and convertibles but the 5.0 LX notchback is a hot commodity still.

It doesn't have to be a notchback, but it must be an LX 5 spd. I would really like something with a clean body between 3-4K, because I am going to redo everything anyways so I don't care about mileage, upholstery, wheels, etc...
