    Just don't forget that when you go to idle after WOT, the temp should jump up a little due to the engine being hot and pump pushing less water. It's normal I guess.
    Learned that by reading through the threads in this forum. Search through the old threads and read up. There's a wealth of knowledge from guys.

    Thanks for the quick reply everyone. I'll try it this weekend. By the way I have the log type exhaust if that makes a difference.

    Yes, with logs you are pre-heating the water before it enters the engine so this will require open the gate much more than running OT's.
