Yeah but Nordic's copy came out pretty good.. LOLI saw it in person.
Copy none the less, but atleast it was a quality copy.

I agree the Nordic is the best copy yet.
We have a 2750 Lavey and it has a gel called the Dirty Duck, taken from an offshore racer. In my opinion no one matches their gel work but that's just me. Granted we did not design the scheme we were the first to have it and after a magazine shoot now there are 4 or 5 of them floating around. Ok so one is on the east coast and one changed the rear color from purple to blue, it sucks when you go to the river and see your boat drive by....I don't care about flattery I want to be unique damnit.

To the guy who wrote that ultra is never duplicated, I don't know about recent boats but my Brother in law bought an Ultra and designed his own gel coat. When he went to pick up his boat they had 2 more sitting in front of the shop waiting for rigging. This was back in '99. I know they've made some big changes from then to now.
