What did it sound like? Kinda like when you drop a fork into the garbage disposal?
imagine snowboarding and turning then hitting an icy spot you know that ginding/roaring sound.I felt the back of the boat lift up as it slid across the rocks then i floated into the deeper water boat would not move had to jump out to bring to shallow water.good thing i have a hand hole on the out side took about 1/2 hour to get the huge rocks out.boat made it back to the riverside on its own but had to cruise easy or it would shake like hell or slip.Broke the rudder and did a job on the intake area all is fixed now.

I had a 93 Carriben 18' and it sucked up everything in sight. you'd be floating, relaxing to the tunes, and when it's time to leave, it would shake and vibrate like hell. So you take off the shades, and dive down to the grate and hope you find some river reeds or someones disgarded 12pak carton. If there was nothing there then you panic.Kids are older now so we "paper/ rock /sissors" to see who goes.

I've sucked up enough rivergrass in one shot that would equal the weight of a cow. That stuff can get pretty nasty around late summer.

Can't you just pour Drano down the handhole? http://plauder-smilies.com/happy/biggrina.gif
On a serious note (I'll try not to have too many of these): When is the next Long Beach Swap Meet and does anyone have a phone number? Don't ask questions, I'm just going for the beef jerky! http://plauder-smilies.com/cool.gif
