    the nut type.
I have bowtie aluminum heads decked .125.
Keith, ARP for all motors. When you ask about 'head type', do you mean the nut 'type' ( 6 or 12 pt), or the engine head type?
I always use 12 pt nuts for clearance issues, and with aftermarket heads, either steel or aluminum WITH RAISED PORTS, you need longer studs for the center 8 (4 each side).

any idea which ones I will need to for these heads?
Aluminum GM Bowtie rectangular port heads # 14044861. These heads have 380 CC runners. They are 106 CC open chambers. They have been angle milled .125. The valve sizes are 2.25 / 1.88
