Best Exh. Gasket for Alum. Log Manifold?

Just converted my 18ft jet boat to a set of old Edelbrock log manifolds and am wondering what style or composition of gasket is best when fastening aluminum to a cast iron head?
Steel, paper or the sandwich style that has 2 outside perforated steel layers and a paper center?

Either copper or something with a graphite face on it. Aluminum expands more than iron doe and if you use a plain paper gasket it will get torn up and blow out. Make sure the surface of the logs is REALLY smooth. Do all that and you should never have a problem!

I used the Fel-Pro "Blue" and have had great luck with them so far. I also had the exhaust logs (Glenwood) surfaced at a local machine shop before installing them. Hope this helps. -Shane
