Anyone ever built their own seats from scratch? If so did you use wood for the frame....I need to build a bench style seat like was in the back of my Stealth....but now sure how to do it..
Any advice or pictures would be helpful.
    Thanks

I built my seat frames, but not from scratch. I used my old frames as templates. As for what materials I used...
    1/2 in. marine grade plywood
1/8 in. luana for the back of the bucket seat
    and resined everything!

i built some from my old ones as templates but they are very simple to do. use thick stuff for bottom and i used 1/4 and bent it around to fit then glassed the whole thing. upolister has to do all the work to make em look good lol good luck
