right stuff made by permatex. i get it from napa.
it comes in mini caulking tubes ,you can by it with the applicator.
Just got through with floor repairs and need to reinstall the shaft log. Drill new holes etc. It had been on since 1988.
What is the best goop to use?

If the floor is flat I'd just use Permatex #2, it's imprevious to almost anything. If the floor is really rough, set it down in Marine-Tex or Sea goin Putty to get a flat surface(use wax paper or mold release so it don't stick) or else it may not seal and you may crack the shaft log when you tighten it down, then use the Permatex to seal it!..
Thanks guys.
