I was looking in the bow of my boat and didnt see any stringers. The motor mounts on to some stringers in the back. But they stop right at the back seats. From there, there is a fake flooring, but only in the middle of the V. Is it possible that there arnt any stringers? how does this work?
BTW I have a 1976 Pioneer with a stock 460 Ford and a Berkeley JC.

That is pretty common. Most boats don't have full length stringers.

Alot of those jets just had a "box" stringer setup (to support just the motor).

They're not as strong that way but are a little lighter. My Southwind did not have full length stringers.

??? Never seen that before. The stringers on mine stop at the engine, then the subfloor takes over..

On my 69 Weimann the stringers go almost all the way up. They stop about 4 foot from the bow.
