Dropped my boat off to Dave Sammons on Saturday. I was met by a group of guys that had more enthusiasm for these boats then perhaps Bob Nordskog had himself.
The guys that were with me thought the camaras should have been rolling for a new "complete makeover" TV show.
Dave I am looking forward to seeing this project through with you.

    Pat,
Was good to meet you in person. You and the fellas got to see what a typical Saturday is like around our place. We try to have a little fun There is liitle doubt you could make a TV show around boats and the group of characters that show up down here
Took some detail shots of the boat will get them up in a few days. That boat is like a history lesson of 1960's endurance racing. Spent some time yesterday, lookin' and thinkin'. The plan is starting to come together.

Dave- I believe I met you a while back at Ming. My name is Travis and I am a writer/photographer for Truckin' Magazine. I still am interested in covering some restoration stuff at your shop. Look forward to talking with you soon.

The windshield is going back on. It's funny how dorky I thought it looked ten years ago, and now wouldn't do it without it.
Travis, It looks like Dave does a lot of cool boats but this one would certainly be one to watch.

    Travis,
If you get over to Daves place, check out my Spectra 24 (maybe you could do a little write up on it).

Here is a few shots of the original rigging...very STOUT! We will be utilizing most of it, but will be streamlining as much as we can. Installation is very "industrial" at this point, which makes sense considering what this boat was built to do.

Think this strut is going anywhere?

Wish my B-Boat had waterpickups like this!

Note whipstrut mount, that's not going anywhere. Imagine what it took to manufacture these stringers?

    V-Drive is a little tight.

Steering is smoother that any I've ever felt.
