Alright you motor heads. A bench racing fag is in need of some info. Has anyone tried the Dyno2000 for windows program? How acurate is it? I've been playing with different setups and cam specs all night. It's pretty cool.

Beached, I have the program on my computer and put in my motor specs. showed HP @ 625 + - @ 5600rpm ....I have a dominator pump w / SS A+ impeller turning @ 5400rpm ...This is what the impeller chart shows the HP required (625/650) to turn this impeller that fast ...so in my case it is pretty deadnuts on...

Cool. What I'm trying to accomplish is to at least know a decent ball park figure so MPD can match the pump. According to the program, I'll be at 521+ HP @ 5500 and the peak torque came to 553 ft.lbs @4000. If this is close, then I should be OK with the SS A/B impeller that's in it I think. But I'd like to be sure.

I use Dyno and it's a good program, it gives you a good idea of what you have but if I get serious, I use "Engine Analizer"!..

Gofast is right. It's a pretty good program. We use it to estimate what's going on.
