Is it a better deal going with the employee discount dealeo vs negotiating everything off except dealer holdback?

Nope...SE Pa.
The employee discount is great because it is a great price (you would be hard pressed to get it below that price) there is no negotiation, the price is typed on the invoice and you should be able to go to any dealer and get the same price on the same truck. I would buy now before the inventories are depleated.

Be careful. 5% below invoice not list.

Kinda late on the GM lots :jawdrop: I can't remember the last time our lot was this empty.
The emplyee discount is great on the vehicles that have high demand, such as the higher end vehicles, deisel trucks, sports cars, etc.
If you are looking for some of the cars with less sales volume such as the Pontiac G6, or any Pontiac for that matter, which usually don't carry that much of a markup, there is still room for negotiation.
CNN.com had a story on this sometime last week. Maybe do a search on their website.
Is the Ford discount the family discount + and cash back rebates?
what kinda truck are you looking for. have a freind at the ford dealer and at the gm dealer out here.
