Meaning windage tray also.....Drain it, if oil is fresh, save it, and measure and add 14 qts, mark your new stick and you'll know when you're full...You might consider marking the stick at 11, 12, and 13 qts as well as full. If you change the filter, add enough to bring it back to full after running it.............The key here is to get it full, but not over full which will cause whipping/foaming on the water. I've heard of guys that only run 10 qts in a 12 qt pan, and/or 12 in a 14 qt pan for this reason..........MP
