weiand big blowers bye bye

so i'm on the phone with Holley today and come to find out that they've discontinued the 10, 12 and 14-71 Weiand blowers. nothing bigger than the 8-71 available from now on. guess they werent selling too many of them cheap blower packages.

I did not even know that Weiand/Holley made a 10,12 or 1471 blower. If I were going to buy a bigger blower setup, I would buy from someone like TBS, BDS or Littlefield.

There was 2 14-71 Weiand blowers for sale on Ebay last week.They look funny.Most 14s are longer on rear.These were longer on the front.

gee my "toy"-blown motor has no problem making 1000 hp. gosh and that's with an 8-71 and only 6psi. I wonder what would happen if i had a non "toy" blower?

not a chance. they stopped building the bigger ones and only have the 8-71's in stock now. you'll have to keep your junk. lol

i'd like a 10 or 12 that i could drive slower and reduce the intake temp a bit. Ideally, i'd like to ditch the innercooler and trade it and the 8-71 for a bigger blower.
