77 Team hawaiian restore put on hold

well after searching and getting great advice from great minds on this board and finding a motor mY brother and I have to pust his restore on hold. Due to the fact that the motor in his Balzer just blew, and the money he was gonna use to buy the 454 has to be used on the motor for his blazer. the worst part of this whole thing is he just sunk 3600.00 into this truck on a lift cooling system MSD ign, chip new tie rodes ball joints and helper springs. I might try and help him out and throw down the 800.00 for the 454 "take-out" motor. I am not sure. But I still need to get this thing registered though.

not that it matters, but your 77 Hawaiian is a 77 Hawaiian. Built by the same guy that built Tahiti's. 'Team Hawaiian' came years later, long after Hawaiin went belly up in 1980 and has nothing to do with the former.

thanks for the clarification on the hawaiian thing. Anyways I am working on pics. Its a light blue that we are gonna strip and paint white with some time of red flames then paint the trailer cherry red. Brother has a thing for red. so all the ordered parts bezels and stuff are red.
