When I was about 15, I was sent to the grocery store for some TP. I bought the TP and, just to make it interesting, I also picked up a laxative.
The cashier was a younger woman and she did her best not to laugh but it was a classic moment.

Way back in ancient history they used to actually put the prices on the items with little stickers.
A woman I know used to buy the big jumbo box of tampons. When she'd shop with her husband, she would scrape off the price sticker from the tampon box. When it was time to check out she'd put that box last on the conveyor belt and then claim to have forgotton some item and she'd trot off to get it.
There her old man was standing there, while the checker calls out on the loudspeaker...."Price check on the jumbo tampons," "Price check, on superabsorbent jumbo tampons." :notam: :rollside:
