Thread: 4779- 750 holley carbs

    I have just purchased a 6-71 mooneyham blower and bought 2 750 dbl pmp carbs for it do I have to do anthying special to them before bolt them on?

    FLATTIE-THE CARBS IF THEY ARE NEW WILL BE LEAN OUT OF THE BOX. YOU WILL HAVE TO GO UP 3 OR 4 IN JET SIZES AND TUNE FROM THERE.SOME OTHER MODS ARE POSSIBLE, BUT DEPENDS ON HOW HOT ROD YOUR COMBO IS. THOSE OTHER MODS ARE 50cc PUMPS AND LARGER DISCHARGE NOZZELS. BOOST REFERENCE PROBABLY WON'T BE NEEDED ON A FLATTIE. GOOD LUCK!

    Mine had the power valves blocked off. I can't remember what jets I ran but they were in the range of mid 80's primary and mid 90's secondarys. This was on a 461" deal.
