I was able to snap this pic on the way back from Laughlin earlier this evening. The lightning was pretty frequent until I pulled over. Then it slowed way down so this was the only shot that I got.

Here is one of the many that I captured last night from my home in Havasu on the south side of town. The lightning was bitchin but never got that close. It's supposed to hit again tonight and I'll be all over that with my camera.

Wow! That's a good one. Could have made the pic a little smaller though. That's more or less what I was going for but since I was on the road I didn't have the patience.

I try to be careful most the time when I'm capturing lightning. Actuall I was in my garage when I took that photo so I was safe.
