If you don't already know, they can call you on your cell phone know too.
The "Do Not Call Registry" number is 1(888) 382-1222 it takes about 1 minute to do and you must call from the phone you want opted out. The Oppt out is good for 5 years.

i signed up all my numbers when that deal first came out.. i NEVER get calls from them now. also something to remember if you sign up for a free givaways at the mall or simular things where you have to enter in your phone number.. you can recieve calls from the telemarketers for a certain number of days afterwards. so if you really are serious about stopping the calls.. never give out your phone number to anyone you don't want to have it.
