my brother has finnaly steped up and is looking to by a boat for his family, he looking for a day cruiser, "around 21 ft"with a chevy or ford, no olds.he says he has around 6000 to spend he lives in modesto,will travel a little bit to look at the right boat, i live in concord so if anyone has a good deal that runs and is turn key let me know.

i have a running turn key cruiser i would sell for $6500. its a 1985 23' omega, white with white upholstery.. a smooth running reliable 5.7 and an omc outdrive, it runs so quiet all you hear is the wind in your ears. two fuel tanks on each side which im guessing will hold about 35 gallons each. i bought it last summer and have used it several times this year and it hasn't left me stranded yet. was at LHC with the outside temp over 120 degrees and the boat never got over 160 degrees running wide open or even at an idle, was there all week. it has a tandem axle competitive trailer with chrome fenders, brand new radial trailer tires, new chrome wheels and new bearings/breaks with only 1 trip from california to LHC on'em. nada book value over 10k for boat and trailer.
the upholstery is usable.. no rips or tears.. but ready for replacement. with all the seats in.. it will sit 10, 6 in the cockpit area and 4 in the two froward facing seats in the bow. i just put in all new carpet on the floor and had it buffed out 2 months ago. this is my second boat and im ready to go a little bigger and a little faster..
