For those around the Bay Area or outlying areas looking for a boat here is a little inside info. I'm not sure how it's gonna work out but the boat I origionally bought from Olympic boat centers in San Jose is a '78 GT. It got water in the oil the first time I took it out. I took it back and they sat on it for going on 4 weeks now with water in the motor. Never changed the oil and there is now rust in the motor, on the cam, lifters, cylinders, and so on. After a BS conversation they offered another boat to me for the same price and I am taking that one. The '78 has a 454BBC with a tunnel and dual carters. Berkley JG pump and in great condition. I was told by the store manager they were gonna wholesale it out instead of repairing it. The tunnel is off and sitting in the boat with the headers, and valve covers. To the untrained eye this thng looks trashed, but to a motorhead with a little work it will be a beast again. When I ran it, it was balls to the wall!!! I would hate to see them scap this boat all together so if anyone is interested go down there. Don't call cause then they will know I told y'all and will want to make some money off of it. A great find for someone I'm sure.

just this one. They don't deal with jets usually. They took it in on trade and don't know anything about it.
