I was curious. What is the best speed you have seen from a single engine, stock 496HO? Any length.

In the cooler months, 75-77mph. Cobra 260 razor. even in the heat the past few weeks still gettin it over 70.

I think the 23' Dana with a 496HO is up around 73-74mph.

24 Lavey 68 on a 130 degree day 1/2 tank fuel and five people on board :rollside: could have gotten another 2 or 3 mph with more trim.
