Broke my u-joints and yoke and cracked the housing - Hit an underwater rock
Allstate won't pay to fix it because they said the yolk broke from fatigue - has anyone ever heard of this??
I've never heard of the yolk failing due to fatigue

are we talking about an egg or an outdrive???
yoke is an outdrive piece, yolk is an egg yellow!!! anyways if you had a collision with a rock and never had a problem before you can get your own second opinion on the matter and take that information to your insurance carrier, they have to at least send another inspector out to review the other persons findings with you.

You are correct, they usually have help in failing. From what I have read, it has to do with re-entry after wave jumping. If you truly hit an underwater rock, where's the damage on the outdrive case? Point that out to the company & maybe it'll change their mind?
