he's leaning towards the victory as it's an open bow. How does advantage hold it value? Hallett's are nice but not a whole lot of cockpit room. He's looking for a 26-29' ,Single engine, deep v. open bow, large cockpit for under $40K.
    Please give me your input.

If your looking at a Hallett 27. You probly won't find a good one for under 70k.

I found a good one and they want 45K . Only problem is it's a closed bow and the room in the cockpit is small. the Boat isn't advertised and the owner live out of country and needs to sell it. If I could get it for $40-45K and re-sell it that would be great but I don't know how popular those closed bow models are.

I would love to have a Hallett 270S Open but, I want nothing older than a 2000 with a 500HPEFI. Just from what I have read the Hallett really holds it's value. Seems strange to me because they still use lots of wood while others have switched to molded liners and less wood (I still want one though ).

Used, but not new. A new Hallett 270 with a 525 is ~$107k before options. Damn, when we were looking at them in late 2003 the same package was ~$92k I think before options.
