Thread: zoomies on a v6 stern drive?

    i just got my boat and it is a 1974 galaxie with a omc (buick) 231 and i was wondering if i could put zoomies on it with out messing up my engine (water and cooling)

    If you put zoomies on it, please take pics and post them because it will be crazy looking haha. Do you have a set? You may have a hard time finding them for that engine unless you want to buy them new.
    I dont see why it wouldnt work, I dont think youll gain anything from it but noise, in fact i bet youll loose power especially on the bottom end, but it would look wild.

    I forgot to mention, make sure you check the angle of the zoomies because in a v-drive for example the motor in generally very high in the boat and the zoomies have nothing to interfere with.
