I heard, and it might just be a rumor, that you can't get close to the dam right now because they found some guy in a houseboat full of dynamite doing some figgerin' (that's that the 'billies call it) a while back. Seems to me that you'd do your figgerin' and then show up with your houseboat full of dynamite, but then again, that's just me.

OK.........Here's the deal......
Tues. through Sat. you can take a boat with over 60HP past the willow beach buoys. Sun is 60HP or less.
After labor day no more big boats up to the base of the dam at all. Sept. 3rd is actually the last day.
The lady at the ranger station knew nothing of the houseboat incident or at least wouldn't disclose to me.....
She said bring it on but be careful....
