Shit, I paid $1200 for mine 14 years ago...... :220v:
Probably have another $500 worth of Ti and other different stuff on it.
Plus the one that I started with (all that's original is just the frame) and I got a smooth $1200 parts on it.
I have just begun to get back in to it. I can still go down hill good, it's just the up hill that's a bitch...LOL!!! I use to ride about 75 miles a week, weather permitting.

Riding over here is AWESOME. THere are trails everywhere and most are specifically for bikes as it is a mode of transportation just like a car is in the States.
