so there I am out on the Mississippi river in a secluded backwater trying to learn how to water ski, Im sitting in the water wating on my father in to take out the slack in the line when I hear this rucus behind me so I turn around and see this roll bar boat heading straight at me....So I stick my bright colored skiis up as far as I can get them and start waving frantacly and sure enough, the driver waves at me and continues coming turns at just the last second and about 20 mph and totally swamped me. Now had I had my Jet boat instead of my ski boat he would have been a little wet. So moral of the story, I havent forgotten what boat did that to me and even though I didnt get their hull #, I will find them!!!!

How come all the idiots use their jet boat as a weapon? Grow up jr. Also, maybe you should read this thread.

never said I would have used my boat as a weapon, just that my ski boat isnt fast enough to catch up to the guy, especially as long as it would have taken for me to get in the boat. Judging by the time of day and the direction he was heading he was going to the dock, which is where I would have caught him and would have made sure he saw my ski's. Im not saying that the guy even knows that this website exist, my guess is he goes through life in his idiot induced daze way too much. But it is my hope that people use the story as an example and start using some commen sense when they are boating. If you see a skiier in the water, slow down, go out around him/her. What realy ticked me off is that the next day I was talking to the guy fixing my trailer tire and find out 2 weeks before his ski rope was cut while he was skiing by what sounds like the same boat. And just for a little more clarrification, I think using your jet boat to get payback makes you just as much of an idiot but, using it to catch the guy makes sense

THEY SHOULD PUT THOSE WAKEBOARD BOATS IN A LAKE WHERE JUST JET SKIES ARE ALLOWED SO THE CAN RUN INTO EACHOTHER AND ACT LIKE ASSHOES TOGETHER.

dont normally have much of a problem with the jetski's even considered getting one myself just the "roll bar boats" and I realy think thats to blame mostly on college kids and yuppies that have never been in a canoe before they buy what they think if a "cool" boat. Its a shame because it gives them all a bad name because you never know which one is going to be the problem and which one is an experienced boater.

like I said, I dont hate all roll bar boats, just the idiots and you can never tell which one is an idiot. Wish I could find a nice one around my area, I would love to learn to wake board (And I have thought about sticking a bar on my jet, Ive seen people get some sick air with a bar and a tube)
