I'm Building a 496 Chevy and was wondering if it is better to run dual carbs vs. a single big dominator carb. ?? :hammerhea

Not necessarily. What kind of boat is it going in? What kind of rpm will this motor be turning? How will you primarily be using the boat?

to calculate the approx carb need for a none race and un blown motor is
engine CIDx max rpms all over 3456( cubic inchs to cf) that number will give that # will be in cfm
    example
    350 cid x 8000 rpms /3456 = 810 cfm so basicly a 800 cfm would be a good choice.
