Misfortune in Blythe

Its is always tragic to hear of deaths that happen on our great waterways, but when it happens to one of your own, it hurts bad...Lost my 18 year old nephew to a drowning accident in Blythe. 1st time ever to the Colorado River and had no clue as to the power of the current...Inform all especially of the serious nature of the water ways before its to late....

My nephew was a totally inexperienced swimmer and his friends who took him along had no clue about this. His ego probably got in the way and costed him and all of us....
