    What engine? Any other numbers?
My Indmar 454 (suposedly 330HP @5K) came with the Chevy factory "High-Lift Hydraulic" (I'm sure because the lobe heights matched that cam's specs after I removed & calipered it although I have no way to check the duration specs). I found no markings on mine tho- at all. They had/ve a marine cam too but it wasn't mine. Without some kind of numbers, no telling what you have or from whom.
    Original cam .......... hydraulic
    .282" exhaust lift (at lobe)
    .271 intake lift (at lobe)
    .479" lift (valve) (20-68)
    .461" lift (valve) (74-20)
    Duration 268*in/274*ex
    Chevy 3883986 High-lift Hydraulic
    Used in L-71 / L-72 / L-78 / LS-5 engines

is this stamping under the timing cover? Hi Perf
i think most of the older BBC's from cars have that stamping (non truck motors) there is some web sites that you can look up the casting numbers on the bell housing area of the block.

The casting number should be on the rear of the block. It will be visible even with the bellhousing on. Go to mortec.com. The have the specs from casting numbers.
