Thread: Whipple for 496HO

    SLOWMAN
    Has anyone installed a Whipple on a 496 HO, if so were there any reliability issues and what were the performance gains. I am interested but would not like to jeapordize the reliabilty of a stock 496 HO.

    Had Whipple Unit installed on 496mag conquest deckboat p/u 18-20mph 40hrs so far so good driveability not affected very quiet.went from 22p 4 blade to 28p 4blade.Fuel economy awesome.

    I HAVE A FASTECH 353 FORMULA WITH 496 HO LOOKING TO PUT WHIPPLES ON /DID YOU CHANGE YOUR DRIVES ?
    WHAT DRIVES ARE ON YOUR BOAT,OR DID YOU JUST UPGRADE THEM?
