Sounds too expensive too me, based on the picture.
the nada book shows that boat at a low of $3,910 and a high of $4,710. from the pics i would say he is asking about twice what its worth.
look for boats meeting your size, price and year within whatever distance you choose from your zip code by searching boattrader (http://www.boattraderonline.com/advancedsearch.html)
Once you find a few you like, check the prices vs NADA (http://www.nadaguides.com/Values/Zip...Sec=4&wPg=1102)
I wouldn't pay much, if any, over NADA or else you'll take a bath when you sell. Keep looking, there's tons of boats out there in that 19-22' range.
thanks fellas! this boat is on boattrader but i thought it was a little high for the year model.
most boaters seem to think their boat is worth alot more then it really is. i have checked nada prices then called up on boats i saw in the boat trader to negotiate a better price. some will say no.. others will be more then happy to talk.
happy hunting.

Nothing wrong with Volvo Penta's Seriously, they are bulletproof. You will not be breaking that drive. Just last weekend I backed mine right into the ground while in reverse. The impact stopped the prop, shutting the motor down. I got out, shoved 'er off and was on my way. No problems at all. Try that with a merc....
Just make sure you get a small block V8 AT LEAST. Anything smaller will not be enough power. But you prolly know that....

I had a volvo once. avoid like the plague. The parts are expensive and hard to replace. Stick with mercruiser or an outboard
