Depends on the setup. Worst case is you have to put an extension on, but don't have to remove it. They range in size from 2" - 6"

I dunno? Maybe somebody will post that had that problem or knows if that is a common problem. I didn't have a problem with it and I had real small pulleys. I ran an extension as the water lines interfered with the belt. I ran my belt fairly loose too.

I got some pics of my blown small block at home with some decent detail. I used a 4" extension and that was all that was really needed, besides some slightly longer waterlines to the pump. I will post up some pics when I get home in a bit.
Got one of these.. Adapter from a fuel cover to Magnaflow pump. Had to make the extension.

what kind of pump do you have? And if it's the neovane does it have the "T" top or just to 2 ports?
