How about a Casting number..........I'm not sure, but I think the choices are somewhat limited in closed chamber rec port. The 990s are open chamber, and I am unaware of any #s for what you are looking for.............Ray
Edit.......Just went over to Mortec, and there are a bunch of different rec port closed heads......Still need a casting # though............Ray

Good luck!!!!! cause you will need it! I went through the same thing last year! luckily I got my set dirt cheap! Most of the classic car resto guys buy them up. They are worth $$$ When the date codes match like mine! I was offered $1500 for mine BARE! I will keep my ears open for ya.

lilrick, do you need one or two heads? You said you broke one, does that mean cracked? or busted....Either way, someone here may have a match for your one good head, or even a set. I didn't see the 990s listed anywhere on the mortec site either??.....Ray

I have 2 sets of heads, oval ports---
1---353049 pro date of 1/29/72 ported and polished but dont know by who???
2---386781 pro date of K 10 76
