Thread: Who here has engine modeling software?

    Who has what software? Have you checked the accuracy of it? Anyone have the stock Merc stuff (454 Bravo, 454 Mag, 502mg, 496mag, 496HO) modeled?
    Just curious....

    I have the comp cams desktop Dyno, we modeled my brothers 454 crate motor and it came in within 1 hp and 3 ft of tq of what the factory said it produces.

    I am running DD as well, although a free download (older (2000)) version. It seems to be matching up pretty well with my other info for my boat (I have no budget for a dyno-run). It does restrict me a bit on a few things but is acceptable for my amateur uses (manifold styles, N2O usage).
