Well its that time of year and we are getting hammered with rain here in the NorCal section. Has been raining hard all day and with that continued rise comes flood waters for me. I took both of these pictures this morning. And if they actually predict water levels correctly it will be very close or actually going over the levee we have around the houses. I'm taking the wife and 2 younger kids out on the tractor tomorrow am so they can stay at the inlaws. My parents, my son and I will be sticking it out pumping water.

That is crazy shit Mike, you should go get your dad and drop the family off in the boat!
We are bone dry down here, no rain this year.

Wow. Scary stuff and from the sounds of it, there are a bunch of storms lining up offshore. Happy New Year huh?

KF, hope you're alright.... this storm has dumped close to three inches here so far, it's not done yet

Seems like I remember seeing a awesome picture of you out in your boat on your own personal floodwaters a few years ago. Hope the waters don't do any damage this year.

Got an 1 1/4 of rain since midnight. Backyard is fulll of rainwater. PG&E works still. Plenty of beer also. Water has gone down some around the house but is expected to rise sometime late tonight to mid sunday.

That pic was just a photochop. Would be funny though.

That was a great a photochop! Had me fooled back in the day, although I did wonder about all your underwater gear going over that road but figured it was your yard/road/flood and you knew the depths. Back in the floods of '97 I ran my PWC thru the parking lot of "Chevy's on the River" in Sacramento and thought I was living dangoursly..but it sure was fun. They just opened the Sacramento Weir about 8:15am so maybe that will help the water go down up your way for a little while.

    That is a good photochop.
You should do it for real though, with that new blower motor.
