    Hello fello Hot Boaters,
I've got a 2001 24'Cheetah with an MX 6.2 377, The fastest I've ran is 70mph under great winter conditions. I'm contemplating buying a whiple charger which will boost my horsepower from 320 to 500. I'm wondering if anyone out there has whiple charged there engines, preferably small blocks. What was the outcome and would you recommend it.
    Thanks SM,

Check with cat and mice....He has the killer daytona in Hot Boat with twim whipple charged small blocks....Also check with Dustin (whipple charged),,,He always seems to give great advice from what I can tell, although I've not dealt with him personally (yet, heh heh)....

Sounds like your speedo might be a bit optimistic Before you do anything you should get a GPS to get you machine dialled in..
I believe that eliminator just did something with ProCharger

    Hey SCJohn,
We ran on December 23, I had 2 200LB men including myself, and about 20 gallons of gas. Trimed up about 3/4, toped out at 4800 rpm the speedo was showing 64mph the handheld GPS was showing 69mph. I think your right my speedo is off.

Hmm. I've seen stranger things..I guess if you validated it on a GPS I guess its possible. Is that Cheetah a Step Hull?

No problem, always happy to help out a fellow Cheetah owner! Let us know how your Whipple project turns out. I'm always interested to hear how these things run with different power.

John-Cheetah has a sales office over in Upland off of Foothill Blvd. They have a 23ft,24ft and a 28ft party cat in the show room. You should stop buy some time and take a look.
I'm going on my second season with my 24 with absolutley no complaints. Handlings great, High speed turnings good, out of the shoot in 3-4 seconds, walks on 3-4ft chop any chop bigger you may want to slow down a bit.
Hey Brian- Which cheetah do you have?
    Mike
