Yes you can use the -8 ports for dump lines. It works just the same as the thermo housing. Thats how mine is.
I have a weiand team g manifold.
Can I block off the thermostat housing (who sells these?) and use the 2 ports (seems to be -8an) to exit the water out of?
I will be plumbing it as so:
jet pump -> faucet ->T -> back of exhaust manifolds -> front of manifolds -> engine block -> intake manifold -> exhaust riser bottom -> exhaust riser top -> out of boat.
under boat pickup -> T -> inside section of PFM (old turbo style) intercooler -> outside section of intercooler -> Exhaust pipes.
Sound ok?

any one know who sells those block offs?
make one
I like comming out of the t stat housing as it's higher up and I feel it makes sure everything is full and less chance for steam pockets.
On the other end of the intake I was running a balance hose between the 2 sides. Again to help be sure there is no steam pockets. The last few I've tapped the back of the t stat housing and ran a -6 from the other end of each side of the manifold to it (instead of the balance hose).
hey dave, did you ever get my pm about the tubing?
I think I did and responded to it. I just cleaned out my PM box so I can't go back and look.
PM's that are biz related can sometimes get hard to keep track of. So if you didn't get the info you need from me try to call the shop or my cell sometime.

I was just asking about 1/2 inch stainless hard line, trying to find out where I can get it, and if you have it.
oh, and would aluminum be ok for water lines instead of stainless.
I have it but it's hard to ship. Where are you located?
I can just tell you what to ask for and you can get it local.
I do have the nuts and sleeves for the hardline in blue anno.
The hard line to get is 304 stainless steel, 1/2" OD, 0.028" wall, seamless and bright annealed

It would cost less but I'd stick with stainless due to corrosion.
