Helicopter crash on catalina island

Just watching the Ch.9 news and they have breaking news of a helipoter crash and it looks just like DCB's helipoter. Its white with red stripes on the the sides and writing (but cant make it out). Anyone know about this.

News just said that the helicopter is based out of San Diego and does boat racing photography

I dont know what kind Dave has, but the one that crashed is a Hughes 500.

That really isnt good.

I just saw this and both people survived. They didnt have any more info. I couldnt read the words on the side either. They DID say the the helicopter is used in boat races though.
